Privacy: PlanGen QuickScreen

This page explains what information the PlanGen QuickScreen funnel collects on otterswimai.com, why, and where it is stored. It covers the funnel only (the property/name/email/phone steps that end at Stripe checkout). It does not change how mailto: contact links elsewhere on the site work: those are your own email client, addressed to us, and nothing is captured automatically.

What we collect

• The property address you enter, and the coverage result for that address (inside or outside the areas PlanGen currently serves)
• Your first name, last name, email address and phone number
• Which "Check My Property" button you used to start the funnel, and basic technical context (the page you were on, the referring page, campaign parameters if you arrived from a link that carried them, and a general device type)
• A funnel/session identifier we generate, so we can find your record again if you leave and come back

Why we collect it

To check whether PlanGen currently covers your property, to prepare and deliver your QuickScreen order, to reach you about that order, and so we do not lose your place if you start the funnel but do not finish paying. We do not use this information to send marketing text messages, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the QuickScreen order you started.

Where it is stored

Your information is written to a private database as soon as you complete each step of the funnel, before you are ever sent to our payment processor. Only the systems needed to fulfill your order and support authorized follow-up on incomplete orders can access it. It is never public and never sold.

Payment

Card information is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. PlanGen never sees or stores your card number.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which "Check My Property" button people use and how far they get in the funnel. GA4 never receives your name, email, phone number or property address: only anonymous step and outcome events.

Your phone number

We only use your phone number to reach you about this order. We do not send marketing text messages, and there is no SMS marketing consent checkbox in this funnel because none is needed for that use.
